After ringing (back in December) and booking a room for tonight, we arrived to check in only to be told we had no reservation. The young lady I booked with had booked it for tomorrow night - needless to say that was no use as we booked to attend a function tonight. I was then told they were fully booked for tonight, this meant driving around Rockhampton looking for an alternative motel - the last thing we needed after travelling 4hrs. No confirmation email was received however I wasn’t aware we should have received one

This is a stunning boutique hotel. Beautiful heritage decor, comfortable and a delight to stay at. I've stayed more times than I can count and I keep coming back. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It feels like I'm coming home to family. It's a touch of luxury at an affordable price.

Beautiful room clean quiet. A haven in the city and a Real break from the busy. Perfect for business travelers. Different from the normal motel room puts a spring in your step when you get underway again.

Stayed here on a quick trip to Rockhampton because we were interested in the room styling as shown in the pics. We loved the styling of the room we stayed in with the 4 poster bed, the antique lounge, the vaulted ceilings. Sure it is not in the greatest of Rockhampton suburbs but it was only overnight and the eclectic decor was what we wanted. Pity the TV reception was extremely poor.

I have stayed here 3 times and this beautiful historic building with high ceilings and luxuriously soft bed never disappoints. Book direct and receive complimentary continental brekky. Staying here breaks up the drive between that horrible boring stretch of road from Mackay and refreshes you for the onward drive to Brisbane. Will be my go-to when visiting Rocky.

The room was amazing, spa bath was fantastic.I woke up by feeling something blowing freezing air on my neck and my back this happened 4 times other than that I will definitely be staying there again loved it. The bed was probably the best I have ever slept on.

This is NOT a hotel it is rent a room. There is no lobby, no reception check-in, no hotel amenities, no where to sit except your room. It is not luxurious by any standard it is very old and smelly. The rooms are dirty and old and the furniture is so dirty. The location was dreadful it must be the bad end of town. The staff were lifeless, but I don't blame them working in this place and the breakfast had enough plastic wrapping it to sink a cruise ship and was not extensive by any means. Every item was wrapped in plastic and was bread and pastries only. This is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. I am astonished at all the great reviews it gets.
